  Tearing down the web comics.
   Febuary 23, 2010.

Wait, what? Yes. I'll admit this is quite a sudden and abrupt move. We did just upload the first few pages of some of our series at the beginning of this month!

Let me explain why I'm doing this though. I found a few small things I needed to fix with the comic viewer. Which, well sadly, I won't have the time to fix until around the end of April or early May. Uh Huh. Don't cry though. I'll let you in on a secret. The reason I'll be too busy to fix it before then.

We are packing up everything for a major construction. Everything is being packed away and put in storage. This is because we're about to start construction on our very own little in home Art Studio for Emerald Angel Comics. That's right, I said it. There is going to be a lot of moving things around. Updating the graphics to the website when we did was good timing. It will be toward the end of April before we begin doing anymore updating with the comics. Things are happening fast behind the scenes here at Emerald Angel Comics. You might not see vary many updates from where you are, but we are working our buns off to set things up for maximum efficiency.

Once the dust settles and I set up the studio equipment, I'll post some hot new photos so you can see what we're doing. We are even debating adding a Web Cam to the Studio! This way you'll know when we're actually working and when we're slacking off. Teehee!!

The kewl thing is I've gotten most of the goodies I'm going to need for the Studio. So, once everything is more organized here we'll put the web comics back up.

Luv,
Chrissy!

  A Little Pre-Spring Cleaning.
   Febuary 17, 2010.

I dropped the Photoshop, Fractal Art, and Photography sections from the Gallery today. These sections were not really related to the Whole of the site and all of it can be seen on DeviantArt anyway.

  A Fresh New Look!
   Febuary 16, 2010.

Since the EAC change three days ago I decided to revamp some of the web graphics. I kept the Emerald Green Layout from 2007, and just cleaned it up some to reflect the changes we're making. I've worked out a whole new Index page. The little note from me on the front page had to be deterring people from actually entering the site. Who wants to enter a website that looks half assed and unfinished? Not many I say. So I fixed that problem. I went with a comic book style feel based on the feedback I got. You all wanted something simple. Short and sweet so to speak.

I dressed up the website header to match the flash navigation on the index page with a comic background, and cleaned up the buttons on the layout.

Everything should look crisp and new now.

Luv,
Chrissy!

  Renaming EAE to EAC.
   Febuary 13, 2010.

Yes, you read right. Emerald Angel Entertainment shall from this moment forever be known as Emerald Angel Comics.

Why the hell am I renaming it? Well, as I stated before, we tried to focus on too many varied projects to offically get anything done. It turned out to be seriously counter productive to focus on so much with such a limited number in staff, resources, and time. So, we're narrowing our scope to the focus of comics. Web Comics and Print Comics both.

Do not freak out and think this means the end of the Games, Cartoons or the Tutorials. Far from it. We will complete the games currently in the works and create new ones. I'm just not making those projects the number one priority anymore. Although I will bust my buns to finally finish up and bring out the games I have neglected for so long.

Luv,
Chrissy!

  The first of many.
   Feburary 6, 2010.

Today is the launch of the first page of The Inglorious Escapades of Porno Granny, my first launched web comic. The comic is based on my mom ... well loosely based on my mom. Not only is my mom the character basis, she is also the co-writer for the series. Today is her actual birthday, so we opened up with a birthday sequence for the series. Don't ask how old she is ...

Today also marks the launch of The Adventures of Chibi-Chrissy. Which is pretty much going to be included in the Legends of Memorandum series. I made a cover for a Chibi-Chrissy comic, because I plan on eventually compiling all the Chibi Chrissy stuff into a single issue someday down the road.

Keep an eye out, more comics should be arriving weekly. Of course, if real life events prevent them from showing up on some days, rest assured, they will come. Even if in mass amounts all at once. Which is a notorious habit of ours.

Luv,
Chrissy!

  Launch of the Web Comics.
   January 24, 2010.

I have successfully designed a gallery viewer for the web comics. I have some comics and covers already worked up for it and the first few comic pages will be launching in Feb!

  A Little Remodeling.
   January 17, 2010.

Well, it's a new year and I'm currently playing around with some of the website layout. As you can probably tell I have dropped quite a few of the more unnessesary pages. The Emerald Tokyo Anime club as been officially dropped, so that page is gone. The Emerald Tokyo Anime club is gone. Dead. Never to return. I'm sorry. I've added the a new Web Comics page to the site. I'm currently working out how to update the comics in a gallery viewer you can flip through the pages with, kinda like the Art Galleries where we have the digital art and such.

Do expect to see some of the galleries phased out in the near future. New ones will take their place and most of the tutorials I'll be showing will revolve mostly around working on comics. I've decided to make the main focus of the website ... comics. It seemed to me that trying to do so many different things was counter productive. We (my staff and I) were not getting any work done because we couldn't decide on what exactly to focus on.

I've also decided to place banners at the top and bottom of the site. Now, these aren't a sign that the site will be over run with ads and pop ups. I don't even get paid for placing ads on the site ... Yet.

Luv,
Chrissy!
