We started the emeraldtokyo website in February 2000, as an anime fan site. The group of friends who used to meet, branched out into comics, animation, web and game design. So, the website changed, friends came and went while the group pretty much hung out watching anime, drawing, cosplaying and running tabletop games. The Anime Club title was dropped and the focus went to comics. Then in 2004 The Anime Club started back up and joined ADV Affiliates. We got monthly newsletters and DVD Samples sent to the group. However, life happened and the group dwindled and died off in 2006. Now, the Emerald Tokyo Anime Club is back with a new generation of anime fans, meeting once a month in Tyrone, PA.
